P/T Instructor of Adults - Anatomy & Physiology

The  Anatomy & Physiology Instructor plays a vital role in delivering high-quality instruction to adult learners enrolled in the Practical Nurse program.  This position is responsible for equipping students with the foundational knowledge, clinical reasoning, and practical skills necessary to meet curriculum requirements and achieve program outcomes.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective classroom instruction aligned with course and program objectives.
  • Facilitate interactive learning activities that support comprehension and application of anatomical and physiological concepts.
  • Evaluate student performance using diverse assessment methods and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Promote an inclusive, student-centered learning environment that supports academic excellence and emphasizes patient safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and ensure adherence to time clock protocols.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in a science-related field is required; preference will be given to candidates with a background in biology.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current nursing practices and educational standards.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering student success.

Schedule:

The work schedule includes two instructional tracks, with some flexibility available:

  • Full-Time Course: Monday - Friday, September 8 - October 10 | 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
  • Part-Time Course 1: Wednesday - Friday, through October 31, 2025 | 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Both course schedules are structured to fulfill the required 120 hours of classroom instruction.
