Library Media Specialist | | The Orange-Ulster BOCES Division of Instructional Support Services is seeking (1) full-time Library Media Specialist to join our dynamic and innovative staff development team to design and deliver professional learning experiences, engage in instructional coaching, and develop and implement library and subject area curriculum, management, and assessment projects for educators in our region. The qualified candidate: - Must hold NYS Library Media Specialist Certification
- Has at least 3-5 years of teaching and/or library experience
- Is proficient in technology with the ability to seamlessly utilize Google Suite products, Microsoft Word, Excel and online course platforms
- Has experience developing and delivering engaging and interactive professional learning experiences in the following settings: in-person, online live synchronous webinars, and online asynchronous self-paced courses
- Is knowledgeable about NYS standards, curriculum, and assessment systems
- Has excellent verbal and written skills
- Is skilled in using, troubleshooting, and providing professional learning in the use of various library automation software including but not limited to Follett Destiny, Media Flex OPALS, various online subscriptions, and learning management software
- Can plan, facilitate, and evaluate assigned projects using quality principles and best practices in the field of Library Media

Instructional Specialist - Full Time (3 Vacancies) | | The Orange-Ulster BOCES' Division of Instructional Support Services is seeking (3) full-time Instructional Specialists to join our dynamic and innovative staff development team. Full-time Instructional Specialists will be responsible for providing expert level learning experiences for educators and K-12 students. Instructional Specialists will present online, hybrid, and live-in-person professional learning courses for educators as well as provide expert level model instruction to students in person, using online formats, and distance learning platforms. Successful candidates have at least 3-5 years of teaching experience as well as experience designing and implementing professional learning. Prior experience teaching ENL/ELL or bilingual students is important for this role. Candidates must have strong communication skills and technology skills.
