Position: Full-Time Teacher of Adults - Practical Nurse Program
Location: Newburgh, NY 
Status: Full-time School Calendar

Overview:
Orange-Ulster BOCES Division of Adult and Continuing Education is seeking an experienced RN to teach adult learners in our LPN program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and a passion for education. This role involves classroom, lab, and clinical instruction, as well as curriculum development aligned with the NCLEX licensing exam.

Qualifications:

• Required: Licensed Registered Nurse or higher.
• Preferred: 3+ years of nursing experience.
• Proficiency with technology (Google Classroom, Google Drive, Smart Tools).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct adult learners on nursing skills in the classroom, lab, and during clinical rotations.
• Develop curriculum and supporting training materials aligned to the NCLEX licensing exam.
• Demonstrate proper use of nursing tools and equipment, with an emphasis on safety.
• Ensure accurate student attendance. 
• Provide support and feedback to ensure student success.
