Work in an exciting and meaningful field teaching children with developmental disabilities.
We are seeking a Teacher of the Blind and Visually Impaired to provide direct instruction to students with visual impairments. Orange-Ulster BOCES provides the foundation and knowledge that enables its students to venture forth in any direction they choose.
Students served (K-12) include individuals with significant developmental and intellectual disabilities, social/emotional needs, behavior management needs and/or learning differences.
You’ll do this by:

Serving as the subject matter expert, working directly with identifying, developing, and implementing appropriate instructional strategies, materials, equipment, and environmental factors that will maximize a student's visual functioning
